4 dead in suspected murder-suicide at Ga. house

Four people have been found dead in a suspected murder-suicide at a residence in the U.S. state of Georgia, according to local authorities. The victims were identified as two young children and an adult female.

The bodies were found just before 6 a.m. local time on Wednesday at a residence on Old Atlanta Road in Suwanee, northwest of Atlanta, said Wesley Watson, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. The discovery was made when deputies responded to a shooting call at the location.

"Upon arrival, deputies located 5 individuals with apparent gunshot wounds," Watson said. "An adult male, who is believed to be the alleged shooter, was located deceased on scene. Two young children were also found deceased at the scene. An adult male and adult female were transported to an area hospital, and the female later died as a result of her injuries."

The sole survivor was reported to be in a critical condition.

"The investigation is still on going, however, initial information suggests that this was a domestic related shooting and an apparent muder-suicide," the spokesman added. "There are no additional suspects at this time. This is a tragic incident and your thoughts and prayers for the family are appreciated."
